Tournament Schedule
The three-day event will start on Friday, September 26, with the Men’s and Women’s Singles “Money Ball” competitions. On Saturday, September 27, players will join the Coed Doubles Scramble, beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by social time with food and drinks at the clubrooms. The event will close on Sunday, September 28, with Men’s and Women’s Doubles.
Playing Format
All players are promised at least three games in each event. Matches will start with round robin play, followed by semifinals and finals if needed. Round robin games will go to 11 or 15 points, win by 2, depending on the number of players. Semifinals will be one game to 15, while medal matches will be best of three games to 11, win by 2. Franklin X40 balls will be used on the outdoor courts.

The Ballarat Regional Tennis Centre will run a canteen offering toasties, coffee, and other food, as well as a licensed bar. Organizers Central Highlands Pickleball Club and Ballarat Regional Tennis Centre said the event is “Ballarat’s first-ever sanctioned pickleball tournament” and added that it will bring together both tennis and pickleball communities.

Refund Policy
Players who withdraw before September 19 will receive a full refund minus processing fees. After registration closes, refunds will only be given with a medical certificate. No refunds will be issued within seven days of the tournament. If the outdoor event is canceled due to weather, players will receive half their registration fee back.
