Tennis 13 will hold its first-ever Triple Couronne tournament on March 8-9, 2025, at their facility in Laval, Quebec. The tournament will feature open pickleball competitions and skill-based events across 24 courts, offering a unique opportunity for players of various skill levels to compete.
The event is open to all players, with categories ranging from 2.5 to 4.5 skill levels, and will include round-robin and double-elimination formats. Teams will compete in 15-point matches, with a two-point difference required for victory. In the consolation bracket, teams will play a match of 15 points, also with a two-point lead to win.
In the Open category, the tournament follows a double-elimination format where losing teams move to a consolation bracket. If the consolation winner defeats the main tournament winner, a final tie-breaking match will determine the overall champion.
Registration for the event opens on December 16, 2024, and closes on February 28, 2025. The tournament ensures a minimum of six guaranteed matches per team and will be tracked via the DUPR system, which calculates player rankings. The event is designed to accommodate various player skill levels, with teams guaranteed at least six matches.
