Fairgrounds Expands Pickleball and Padel in Toronto: A new pickleball and padel club is set to open this summer in Toronto’s Leaside neighborhood. Fairgrounds, a growing network of racket clubs, is transforming a former Mercedes-Benz dealership near Bayview and Eglinton into a state-of-the-art facility offering courts, coaching, and social amenities for players of all skill levels.
Expanding Pickleball and Padel Access
The new Fairgrounds Leaside location will feature 13 pickleball and four padel courts. These courts will be available for drop-in play, memberships, and organized events. The club will also offer coaching, clinics, and beginner leagues to introduce more players to the sports.
More Than Just a Racket Club
Beyond the courts, the facility will include a sauna, cold rinse showers, a retail shop for gear, and a lounge with food and drinks. The club will also host social events, tournaments, and training programs to enhance the playing experience and build a strong community.
A Temporary Home for Pickleball
The location is part of a larger development project, meaning its use as a sports facility may be temporary. Fairgrounds has previously opened other locations, including an indoor club in Cloverdale and outdoor spaces at Stakt Market, Assembly Park, and Yonge and Rosehill, scheduled to reopen soon.
