Discover Pickleball: Exclusive 2025 Pickleball Clinics and Coaching with Top Coach Marianne Banman

Pickleball Clinics and Coaching: Baseline Pickleball Academy is set to begin its 2025 outdoor season with group clinics, private lessons, and custom coaching programs on two private courts. Starting April 23, beginner and intermediate players can join affordable lessons led by certified coach Marianne Banman.

Large Group Clinics Now Open

The academy is offering 90-minute large group clinics for beginner and intermediate players. Each session hosts up to eight students across two courts.

The beginner clinic on April 23 at 10:30 a.m. is full with a waitlist, while the April 30 session at the same time has four open spots. Intermediate players can join on May 17 at 11 a.m., with eight spaces available. Each clinic costs $25 per person.

Small Group Sets Offer Flexible Learning

Players can also register for small group lesson sets tailored to beginner and early intermediate levels. These include four 75-minute lessons with groups of three or four students.

Rates are discounted under a May special: $120 per student for groups of three and $100 per student for groups of four.

Private and Semi-Private Coaching Options

Private and semi-private lessons are also available by appointment. These one-on-one or small group sessions provide personalized instruction on technique and game strategy.

Coach’s Credentials and Experience

All lessons are led by Marianne Banman, a coach with over 25 years of racquet sport experience. Banman launched Baseline Tennis Academy in 2000, which became Baseline Pickleball Academy in 2022. She holds Level 1 and Level 2 Pickleball BC/Canada certifications.

Banman also holds a BSc PHE degree and has worked in the fitness industry for over 30 years. She is a certified pickleball rating assessor and serves as an official Selkirk Advocate for the 2024/2025 season. She is fully insured through the Tennis Professional Association of Canada.

Expanding Pickleball Access in the Community

These programs are designed to help more players learn and grow in pickleball. With the mix of group, semi-private, and private options, participants can choose the best fit for their schedule and skill level.

As pickleball continues to grow, this program offers a fun and welcoming way to improve and stay active.
