Nova Scotia’s Biggest Pickleball Showdown is Coming in May—Are Pickleball Players Ready to Compete?

Nova Scotia’s Biggest Pickleball Showdown: The 2025 Nova Scotia Pickleball Championships will take place from May 23 to May 25 at the Atlantic Tennis Centre in Bedford. The event is open to all Nova Scotia residents who are members of Pickleball Canada and Pickleball Nova Scotia. Registration begins April 15 at 8:00 AM AST and closes May 10 at midnight. The tournament is sanctioned and will affect players’ Canadian Tournament Player Ratings (CTPR).

The event will be held at 50 Verdi Drive, Bedford, NS. All players must have a CTPR to participate. If a player does not have a CTPR, their DUPR or Self Rating will be used instead. The entry fee is CAD 60.00, and all participants are guaranteed at least four matches.

Tournament Format and Structure

The championship will use a round robin format in all divisions. The number of teams moving to playoffs will depend on how many register. Singles matches will use Rally Scoring. Organizers may combine age and skill groups if needed to ensure competitive play. The tournament is expected to draw players from across the province.
