Young pickleball players across Alberta are invited to join the 2025 Junior HOTSHOTS Clinics in Medicine Hat. The series includes one free session and four paid clinics, held at the Big Marble Go Center. Sessions run from September 13 to November 15, 2025, and aim to introduce youth to the sport in a fun and safe setting.

Free “Try It” Event and Full Clinic Package

The first session, called “TRY IT for Free,” will take place on September 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Following that, clinics are scheduled for October 4, October 18, November 1, and November 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The full clinic package costs $75 per participant. Registrants will receive a Poach Pickleball paddle, a HOTSHOTS cap, and premium safety glasses. Additional fees apply for those not already members of Pickleball Alberta ($15) and Pickleball Canada ($10).

Supported by Community and Sponsors

Della Curry is the point of contact for families interested in signing up. The clinics are supported by Poach Pickleball, a company known for making high-performance pickleball gear accessible. The company has been providing paddles to the Pickleball Alberta junior program since 2022.

Helping Alberta Youth Learn and Grow

Organizers say the program is designed to give juniors a positive introduction to pickleball. It encourages fun, safety, and skill-building in a group setting. The program also promotes social connections, helping participants make friends through shared experiences.

These clinics offer a great opportunity for Alberta youth to get involved in a growing sport. With structured guidance and support, the next generation of pickleball players will have the tools to develop their skills.
