Arbutus Meadows Farm Pickleball Courts: A new indoor pickleball facility opened on July 15 at Arbutus Meadows Farm in Nanoose Bay, British Columbia. The five-court venue, called Cross Court at the Meadows, is managed by Halifax-based company CrossCourt. The courts are now available for rentals, and a grand opening event is scheduled for September 6.
A New Place to Play Indoors
The new courts are located at 1515 Island Highway East. The space includes five fenced-in pickleball courts with a special acrytech sports surface that helps improve game quality. CrossCourt, which runs other pickleball centers in Canada, will operate the facility.
The indoor courts give players in Nanoose Bay a chance to play year-round, rain or shine.
Flexible Play Options for All Levels
CrossCourt is offering multiple ways for players to use the new courts. There will be leagues, drop-in sessions, court rentals, and lessons. Players can choose from three membership levels depending on how often they play.
The casual membership is for people who play once a week. The serious membership is for those who play twice a week. The pro membership is for players who hit the court three or more times each week.
These options make it easy for both beginners and experienced players to get involved and enjoy the game.
A Growing Sport Finds New Ground
The opening of Cross Court at the Meadows shows how fast pickleball is growing across Canada. Adding five new indoor courts in Nanoose Bay gives players more space and time to practice, compete, and connect with others in the community.
A grand opening celebration on September 6 will give visitors a chance to tour the space and learn more about what CrossCourt has to offer.
