HearingLife Canada Joins Pickleball Canada: HearingLife Canada has signed a new three-year sponsorship deal with Pickleball Canada. The partnership started this week at the Atlantic Regional Championship in Bedford, Nova Scotia, running from May 23 to 25. HearingLife aims to promote better hearing and support players of Canada’s fastest-growing sport.
A Growing Sport Across Canada
Pickleball is quickly gaining popularity in Canada, with over one million players joining games every month. The sport appeals to people of all ages and is known for its social and fitness benefits.
With this growth in mind, HearingLife Canada, the country’s largest hearing health provider, is joining the pickleball community to help players protect their hearing. Anna Shaw, Senior Brand Manager at HearingLife, explained the link between hearing and the sport:
“I love playing pickleball and I know that communicating with and hearing your teammate is an essential part of the game, so I’m excited to spread the love your ears message to pickleballers across the country to help keep their paddles ready for years to come.” – (Anna Shaw)
Promoting Hearing Health
HearingLife Canada will now have a presence at Pickleball Canada’s Regional and National Championship events. Their booth and displays will help educate players about hearing care.
“We encourage everyone to have their hearing tested, the earlier the better. It’s why HearingLife offers FREE hearing tests for anyone over the age of 19. We want to create awareness around hearing health and how to protect your ears at any age so that you can ‘Keep being you’ and keep playing the game we love.” – (Anna Shaw)
HearingLife will be featured at several big events, including:
- Nova Scotia Provincials – Halifax (May 23–25)
- Saskatchewan Provincials – Saskatoon (June 6–8)
- Alberta Provincials – Medicine Hat (July 10–13)
- BC Provincials – Vernon (July 24–27)
- Ontario Provincials – To Be Confirmed
- Pickleball Nationals – Winnipeg (August 19–24)
A Welcome Addition to the Court
Pickleball Canada is excited about this partnership. Barry Petrachenko, Executive Director of Pickleball Canada, shared his thoughts:
“Pickleball Canada is thrilled to welcome HearingLife Canada onto our courts to help players learn more about hearing health. Our sport boasts a growing community of passionate players, many of whom hope to continue to play the game for many years to come. Protecting their hearing is an important part to ensure the paddles keep swinging.” – (Barry Petrachenko)
Supporting Long-Term Participation
HearingLife Canada hopes to reach more people with their message of hearing protection and care. Their mission is to provide personalized hearing support using modern technology and expert advice.
This partnership could help thousands of Canadians stay active and connected through pickleball by focusing on a key part of the game—being able to hear and communicate.
