Meet the 2025 CNPL Drafted Players Shaping Canada’s Pickleball Future

2025 CNPL Drafted Players: The Canadian National Pickleball League has announced its 2025 draft picks ahead of the new season. Twenty players from across Canada and around the world were selected to join one of eight national teams. The draft highlights rising stars and seasoned players who will shape the season ahead.

Christina Chin Goes First Overall

Christina Chin, a 27-year-old from Canada, was the first overall pick. She was chosen by Vancouver Rush and brings a strong Competitive Tournament Player Rating (CTPR) of 5.69. Christina Chin’s height is listed at 5’5″. She is expected to play a key role in leading Vancouver Rush this season.

Lucas Wong, age 33, was picked second by Northern Lights Ontario Pickleball. Wesley Gabrielsen, a 39-year-old player from the United States, was selected third by Detroit-Windsor Drive. Brad Chapman, 34, from Canada, went fourth to Prairie Pronghorns. He stands 5’10” tall and holds a CTPR of 5.50.
