Canadian National Pickleball League’s New AI Deal to Revolutionize Fan Experience and Sponsorships

Canadian National Pickleball League’s AI Partnership: The Canadian National Pickleball League (CNPL) has named Magnifi by VideoVerse as its official AI technology partner for the 2025 season. This new partnership aims to boost fan engagement and digital reach by using artificial intelligence to create real-time video highlights and deliver detailed sponsor analytics.

AI to Transform Content and Sponsorship Value

Magnifi’s AI-powered software detects exciting game moments and instantly turns them into highlight clips. These clips are automatically shared across social media, broadcast, and streaming platforms. The platform also tracks sponsor logos, player gear, and court branding to create customized content and return-on-investment (ROI) reports for CNPL’s partners, including Onix, Tyrol, and Selkirk.

Magnifi’s AI technology allows us to scale our media presence to deliver new value to our sponsors,” said Mike McAninch, CNPL Commissioner.

2025 Season Features New Format and Broadcast Expansion

The CNPL’s third season, called CNPL III, began on May 17, 2025. The league now features a four-region format: Central, Eastern, Western, and Metropolitan. Eight teams—Lions, Smash, Drive, United, Owls, Lights, Pronghorns, and Brewers—will compete through September.

CNPL has also joined with Game+ as its official broadcast partner. Games and highlights will be available on social platforms like YouTube, OTT services, and more. This broad content distribution is powered by Magnifi’s cloud-based platform, which delivers shareable videos that are easy to access for fans everywhere.

Our technology allows CNPL to deliver content at the speed of the game, from real-time highlight reels to sponsor-branded moments, while simplifying production behind the scenes,” said Meghna Krishna, Chief Revenue Officer at Magnifi.

Driving Growth in Canadian Pickleball

The CNPL is widely regarded as Canada’s top pro pickleball league. It brings together national talent and creates new chances for athletes across the country. This partnership with Magnifi not only helps the league increase its visibility but also gives sponsors a clearer way to see their impact.

With this AI-driven approach, CNPL is expected to deliver its most connected and content-rich season yet. The combination of technology, broadcast reach, and fan access is likely to set a new standard for how pickleball is experienced in Canada.
