Top Players Headline the Tournament
The tournament featured Armaan Bhatia, widely known as the ‘Golden Boy’ of Indian pickleball. Armaan, ranked No. 1 across Asia and Australia, had already made a name for himself internationally. He was a Triple Crown winner at the PWR India Masters in Delhi and had topped the rankings at PPA Australia.
Alongside Armaan, Harsh Mehta, also known as ‘The Wall,’ was another standout player. Harsh, a doubles specialist and the No. 1 doubles player in Asia and Australia, had multiple titles under his belt, including being named the MVP at MLP Australia.
Aditya Ruhela also played a key role in the tournament. He had quickly risen to become one of the best singles players in Asia. In 2023, Aditya won the Singles event at PPA Vietnam and earned a Gold medal in the Open Singles at the 2023 Nationals. He also secured a Silver medal in the Open Doubles category, making him a formidable competitor in both formats.
