Chhattisgarh Pickleball Players Dominate Bhubaneswar Pickleball Tournament with Stellar Performances

Bhubaneswar Pickleball Tournament: Chhattisgarh athletes delivered outstanding performances at the national pickleball ranking tournament held in Bhubaneswar. The event witnessed Jayesh Ashfalya clinching two titles, Shilpi Matreja winning gold in the 40+ Singles, and Reena Agrawal securing silver and bronze medals.

Medal Wins by Chhattisgarh Players

On the tournament’s second day, Jayesh Ashfalya won in the 50+ Men’s Singles, defeating Bihar’s Virendra Singh 15-06 to win gold. Jayesh partnered with Bhushan Akut in the Doubles category, securing a second title by overcoming Bihar’s Virendra Kumar and Prem Kumar in a nail-biting 15-14 final.

In the 40+ Women’s Singles, Shilpi Matreja dominated with a score of 32-16 to win gold, while Reena Agrawal earned silver with a score of 32-25. The duo of Shilpi and Reena also secured a bronze medal in the 30+ Women’s Doubles.

Sanskriti Tayal added to the tally with a bronze in the U-18 Women’s Singles. In the Doubles of the same category, Sanskriti and Suhani Pathak claimed another bronze medal.

Performances by Young Players

In the Boys’ U14 Doubles, Harsh Bardiya and Aarish Aga Choubey secured a silver medal. Aarish, paired with Maharashtra’s Neel, also won silver in the Boys’ U16 Doubles.

Suhani Pathak showcased her skill by winning gold in the U16 Singles, defeating Maharashtra’s Anjali Pal 15-10 in the final.

In the 60+ Doubles category, R.C. Meshram and Amarjeet Singh Chadda from Chhattisgarh secured the bronze medal.
