The Indian Pickleball Association’s 4th Nationals PWR700 tournament will take place from January 23 to 26 at Bennett University. With over 700 players representing 25 states, this event marks the largest national pickleball tournament in India to date.

Pickleball’s Growing Popularity in India

This year’s event reflects the rapid growth of pickleball across the country. Players from diverse regions and backgrounds will compete on 20 world-class courts, including 10 dedicated pickleball courts and 10 additional Pickleball United Courts. These facilities ensure plenty of space for matches and practice sessions.

Showcasing India’s Best Talent

The tournament will feature top Indian players, including Armaan Bhatia, Aditya Ruhela, Harsh Mehta, and Dhiren Patel. With up to 700 PWR DUPR points available, players will have the chance to climb the ranks in the global pickleball system.

Building on Past Success

Delhi’s RK Khanna Tennis Complex hosted the PWR DUPR India Masters in 2024, also a PWR 700 event, where 750 players from around the world competed in multiple categories. That event highlighted the sport’s appeal across age groups, with competitions for juniors, 35+, 50+, and 60+.

Bennett University also hosted an exhibition match between men’s singles finalists Armaan Bhatia (India) and Dustin Boyer (USA), further solidifying its reputation as a premier pickleball venue.

Looking Ahead

The 4th Nationals PWR700 tournament promises to elevate pickleball’s status in India, showcasing top talent and drawing attention to the sport’s increasing popularity. The event is expected to inspire new players and foster further growth nationwide.
