Adani Sportsline recently hosted the “Ahmedabad Radio Pickleball Smash” at the Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park in Paldi. The event brought together teams from leading radio stations in Ahmedabad, including Radio City, Fever FM, Radio Mirchi, and MyFM, for a fun and competitive evening.
A Friendly Competition
The tournament featured a doubles format with 24 players participating alongside their families. To help everyone get involved, an hour-long introductory session was held to explain the rules of pickleball. The competition included matches across three groups, with four teams in each group.
Among the participants were RJ Harsh from Radio Mirchi, RJ Harshil and RJ Saurabh from Radio City, and RJ Tushar from MyFM, along with Radio City’s VP, Rajiv Patel.
Radio Mirchi Dominates
The Radio Mirchi team excelled in the tournament, claiming the top two spots. RJ Harsh and his partner Aditya Bhat emerged as champions, while their teammates Pranav Pujara and Het Shah secured second place. Sanjay Adesara, Chief Business Officer of Adani Sportsline, emphasized the event’s purpose.
