LGT Wealth India Gujarat Masters 2025: Gujarat’s Biggest Pickleball Tournament Set for March

LGT Wealth India Gujarat Masters 2025: The Pickleball Association of Gujarat (PAG) is set to organize the largest state-level pickleball tournament in Gujarat’s history. The LGT Wealth India Gujarat Masters 2025 will take place in Vadodara from March 21 to 23, featuring over 250 players competing across 29 categories. The event marks a major milestone in the sport’s growth within the region.

With a prize pool exceeding ₹5 lakh, the tournament aims to promote pickleball as a competitive and inclusive sport. Organized under the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), the Gujarat Masters is expected to enhance the state’s reputation as a key hub for the sport in India.

A Growing Sport in Gujarat

PAG, led by experienced former athletes and ITF tennis veterans, has been at the forefront of pickleball’s expansion. Notable members include Saurabh Trivedi, Ronak Mehta, Rahul Vora, Shaleen Bhatt, and cricketer Mrugesh Kothari. Their combined expertise and dedication have played a crucial role in developing talent and increasing participation in the sport.

Saurabh Trivedi, President of PAG, emphasized the importance of the tournament, stating,

“The Gujarat Masters is a game-changer for pickleball in India. With record-breaking participation, it’s not just Gujarat’s biggest pickleball tournament—it’s a statement of the sport’s growing momentum. Our goal is to create a strong, sustainable ecosystem where players can compete, develop, and gain national and international exposure.”(Saurabh Trivedi)

Developing Future Champions

To support emerging talent, PAG has introduced a Player Sponsorship Program. This initiative will provide financial aid and professional training to promising athletes. Additionally, PAG Labs, a high-performance training and mentorship program, is set to launch under the guidance of internationally recognized coach Radhika Trivedi and AIPA Head Coach Bhupendra ji.

With these structured efforts, Gujarat is positioning itself as a leading force in Indian pickleball. The Gujarat Masters 2025 is more than just a tournament; it serves as a platform for players to advance from grassroots to the national and global stage.
