Billed as Pune’s Biggest Pickleball Tournament – Battle for Glory, the Grand Slam promises to attract seasoned pros and new players. Entry starts at ₹700, and limited slots are available.
“Get ready for the ultimate pickleball showdown as we gears up for its biggest-ever tournament ever in Pune!” organizers announced.
What Players Can Expect
The tournament features multiple categories and offers exciting prizes, trophies, giveaways, and activities. There will also be cash rewards, medals, paddles, and refreshments.
Professional-grade courts, a lively environment, and an on-site café add to the experience. Food, drinks, clean washrooms, and changing rooms will also be available.
Participation Rules and Match Setup
All players must register in advance and pay the fee. A minimum of 16 entries is required per category, or it may be merged with a similar one.
The tournament format—league, knockout, or round-robin—will be decided based on participant numbers. Match decisions by referees and organizers will be final.
Players must arrive at least 15 minutes early. “Proper sports attire and sports shoes (preferably non-marking) are mandatory.”
Any protest must be made right after the match. “The official decision by referees and tournament organizers will be final and binding.”
Terms, Conduct, and Safety
Unsportsmanlike behavior will result in penalties or disqualification. “Players participate at their own risk and must adhere to safety guidelines.”
The organizers are not responsible for injuries or lost items. Media coverage is part of the event, and participants agree to be photographed.
Cancellations and Refunds
The cancellation policy is clear. Players canceling more than 7 days ahead get a 50% refund. No refunds are available within 7 days or for no-shows.
If organizers cancel the event, a full refund will be issued. Postponed events will carry over existing registrations.
