LawStrings Management is launching a unique sports event for the legal world—The LawStrings Pickleball Premier League – Lawyer’s Edition. The pickleball tournament will take place on May 24 and 25, 2025, at REPPP, Farm No. 1, Mehrauli, South Delhi. Eight franchise teams owned by top legal professionals will compete in this first-of-its-kind event.
The league is supported by Senior Advocate Sacchin Puri and aims to blend the fields of law and sport. The two-day tournament will feature lawyers across generations, competing in men’s doubles, mixed doubles, and recreational matches. Games will be played across two evenings in a high-energy format.
Franchise Teams and Their Owners
The event will see eight teams battle it out:
- Amicus Aces – owned by Senior Advocate Guru Krishna Kumar
- Pickle Pleaders – owned by Retired Justice Dr. S. Muralidhar
- Smash Squad – owned by Senior Advocate Sonia Mathur
- Sood’s Smashers – owned by Senior Advocate Vivek Sood
- Net-workers – owned by Senior Advocate Haripriya Padmanabhan
- Supreme Strikers – owned by Senior Advocate Rupesh Kumar
- Legal Pickle – owned by Advocate Shrey Sharawat
Each team will feature a mix of experienced lawyers and up-and-coming legal minds, with a focus on fun, fitness, and friendly rivalry.
