A New Sporting Platform for Lawyers
The IPA, as the official partner, will use its experience in running and promoting pickleball tournaments to help create a high-quality league. Participation in the Lawyer’s Edition is exclusive to legal professionals, giving them a chance to connect, unwind, and enjoy a growing sport.
The league supports IPA’s mission to introduce pickleball to new groups and professions in India. Pickleball’s growing popularity shows how it appeals beyond traditional sports circles, making it an excellent fit for busy professionals like lawyers.
Official Recognition and Upcoming Events
Recently, the Government of India’s Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports officially recognized the IPA as the governing body for pickleball in the country. The IPA has also been named a Class A member of the Global Pickleball Federation. This recognition gives the IPA the responsibility to promote and regulate pickleball nationwide. It marks a key milestone for the sport’s growth in India and internationally.
The first-ever LawStrings Pickleball Premier League – Lawyer’s Edition will take place on May 24 and 25 at the Rackonnect Exclusive Padel Pickle Park (REPPP) in Mehrauli, South Delhi.
