Udaipur’s Field Club Draws Record Crowd as Pickleball Fever Sweeps All Ages

Udaipur Pickleball Tournament: The Field Club in Udaipur hosted a lively pickleball tournament on Sunday. The pickleball event welcomed 142 players of all ages, showing the sport’s growing appeal. The matches took place on three new courts built just for club members two months ago.

Strong Support from the Club

Club Secretary Umesh Manwani shared that pickleball is becoming very popular worldwide.

Vice President Bhupendra Shrimali and Joint Secretary Pankaj Kaneria praised the large turnout and growing interest from people of all ages. The club’s new courts were key to making this event possible and successful.

Treasurer Gaurav Sindhvi and Executive Member Amit Kothari announced the winners in the singles and doubles events across different age groups:

  • Under 35 Singles: Shailendra Kataria

  • Under 35 Doubles: Shailendra Kataria and Tilak Kataria

  • Age 35–40 Singles: Jimmy Chhabra

  • Age 50+ Singles: Vikas Kalra

  • Age 50+ Doubles: Vikas Kalra and Sandeep Bhargava

  • Age 60+ Singles: Sharad Kataria

  • Age 60+ Doubles: Manoj Maru and Arun Sharma

  • Mixed Doubles: Alka Kataria and Shailendra Kataria

  • Women’s Doubles: Alka Kataria and Anchal Talesara
