Assam Pickleball Open 2025 Winners: The Assam Pickleball Open 2025 was held on June 21 and 22 at Eden Greens Nursery in Nalapara, Sarusajai. The two-day event brought together more than 50 athletes from across Northeast India. It was organized by the Assam Pickleball Association and sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association. Players competed in Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, with the chance to earn Pickleball World Ranking (PWR) points.
The event drew a large crowd and showed how much the sport has grown in the region. The finals and prize ceremony were held on Sunday at 4 PM.

Organizers and Guests Celebrate a Growing Sport
The tournament was praised for its smooth setup, complete with shaded seating, water stations, and good court conditions. During the opening ceremony, Audrey Oswalt was thanked for leading the event, along with Paul Sparrowhawk, president of 256 Pickleball, and Connie Davidson, president of the Calhoun County Sports Hall of Fame. Oxford City Council member Mike Henderson also spoke to encourage local sports.
Nazneen Rahman, Secretary of the Assam Pickleball Association, said, “This tournament marks a major step forward in popularizing pickleball in Assam and the North East. The passion and professionalism of the players have truly set the tone for many such events in the future.”

With over 50 participants, strong matches, and good crowd support, the Assam Pickleball Open 2025 was a big success. It helped promote the sport and bring more people into the pickleball community.
