Hyderabad Pickleball Championship 2025 Shatters Records, Ignites Pickleball Fever Across South India

Hyderabad Pickleball Championship 2025: More than 220 players from across South India competed in the Hyderabad Pickleball Championship 2025 (HPC 2025), held at CrossCourt Sports Club in Kokapet. The tournament, hosted by Pickl’Out, became the first PWR200 event in Hyderabad and attracted over 100 spectators.

The championship featured players from Telangana, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Visakhapatnam. It showcased pickleball’s fast-growing popularity in the region. Winners included Sameer and Nikhil in Men’s Doubles, Rashein Samuel in Men’s Singles, and Rithika and Joshika in Women’s Doubles. Rithika also won Women’s Singles and paired with Anish to win Mixed Doubles. Tshering and Avilay won 35+ Men’s Doubles.

A Celebration of Community and Competition

Organised by Pickl’Out, a Hyderabad-based pickleball community, the event stood out as more than a sporting competition. Aparna Rao, Co-founder and CEO of Pickl’Out, said,

“This was more than just a tournament. It was a celebration of the growing community, the competitiveness of the sport, and the spirit players bring to court.”

The event’s PWR200 status added weight to its importance, bringing national recognition and encouraging more players to participate.

The turnout from multiple cities highlighted how quickly the sport is gaining fans across South India. The event also helped connect different pickleball communities and set a higher standard for future tournaments in the region.
