said Senthil Ram, Founder of the Women’s Premier Pickleball League during the launch.
“Encouraging more women players to take up pickleball, more brands to support Women’s league, and more people to believe in professional women sports. It is not a side note of a larger league. It is a main event.”
Format of the League
The competition will feature 10 teams, each made up of five women players. These teams will battle in a fast-paced, professionally managed format designed to showcase high-level play and the talent within the women’s game.
The November 2025 launch will also include celebrity involvement. Pickleball stars and well-known personalities are expected to participate in some capacity, adding further visibility and excitement to the event.
