Hyderabad Open 2025 Pickleball Tournament: The Hyderabad Open 2025, organized by the World Pickleball League On Tour and Hyderabad Superstars, is set to be the largest pickleball tournament in Hyderabad. Scheduled from August 22 to 24 at CrossCourts, Hyderabad, the event features a total prize pool of ₹15 lakhs and 60 competition categories for players of all levels.

A Major Event for Hyderabad Pickleball
Backed by KLO Sports, actors Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, Hyderabad Superstars is a franchise of the World Pickleball League now in its second season. The team was a semi-finalist in Season 1 and aims to further promote pickleball in Hyderabad’s diverse community.
Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, co-owners of Hyderabad Superstars, said: “Hyderabad Superstars has been such a pride and joy for us and launching the Hyderabad Open is another step in the direction of connecting with the pickleball community. We are looking forward to three days of intense action and are sure that the Hyderabad pickleball community will only grow stronger.”
Srinath Chitturi, co-owner of Hyderabad Superstars (KLO Sports), added: “Bringing pickleball to Hyderabad is the reason we started out with the World Pickleball League in the first place. We thank them for giving KLO Sports a chance to bring the Hyderabad Superstars alive. The support we got from the community in Hyderabad has been immense and it’s the perfect way to kick off the WPBL On Tour with the Hyderabad Open. We are looking forward to three days of intense pickleball and the coming together of a massive community.”
Inclusive Competition Across Levels
The Hyderabad Open 2025 includes 60 categories for intermediate, advance, and professional players. Events are divided by DUPR ratings to ensure fair competition. Categories include U/18 singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, 35+ and 50+ singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, as well as Open singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
The tournament offers opportunities for recreational players and professionals alike. The large prize pool highlights the potential for pickleball as a career for athletes.
Partners and Expected Participation
Franklin India is the official ball sponsor, Pickl’out is the experience partner, and KonnectPickleball serves as the community partner. The event is expected to host over 500 players across three days, making it the largest pickleball tournament in Hyderabad to date.
The Hyderabad Open 2025 will also provide a platform for emerging players in Hyderabad, offering them the chance to join the Hyderabad Superstars franchise. Hyderabad Superstars will participate in Season 2 of the World Pickleball League at Jio World Garden, Mumbai, from January 24 to February 8, 2026.
