Pickleball Now Grand Prix Debuts in Bengaluru: Inside India’s Hottest New Sport and Lifestyle Event

Pickleball Now Grand Prix Bengaluru: The Times Network will host the first-ever Pickleball Now Grand Prix on August 30, 2025, at Go Rally in Whitefield, Bengaluru. The one-day event aims to combine India’s fastest-growing sport with entertainment, networking, and lifestyle experiences, drawing over 250 players and more than 500 attendees.

A Blend of Sport and Lifestyle

The Pickleball Now Grand Prix is designed to be more than a tournament. Along with competitive matches, the event will include premium on-ground activities and a social mixer. It seeks to bring together high-net-worth individuals, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and young professionals.

Organizers say the event will provide brands with a platform to connect with an ambitious and influential crowd. With strong television, digital, and live coverage, the Grand Prix is set to position itself as a flagship event for sport, lifestyle, and networking.

Tournament Categories

The competition will feature multiple categories:

  • Men’s Doubles: Intermediate and Open (Advanced)

  • Women’s Doubles: Intermediate and Open (Advanced)

  • Mixed Doubles: Intermediate and Open (Advanced)

  • Mystery Partner: Intermediate only

Setup and Participation

The tournament is expected to draw more than 250 players. Matches will be played across seven courts and will be affiliated with Pickleball World Rankings (PWR). Player scores will also be updated on the PWR platform.

Registration and payments are being handled on the Pickleball Now website with an integrated payment system.

Awards and Prize Pool

The event will honor a total of 28 winners and runners-up. Fourteen winning players will receive trophies, while 14 runners-up will also be awarded trophies. Second runners-up will be recognized with medals.

The total prize pool is Rs 2 lakhs, with trophies awarded to seven winning teams in addition to the cash rewards.

The Pickleball Now Grand Prix is expected to increase the sport’s reach in India by merging it with lifestyle and business networking. With strong participation and brand involvement, the event could set a new standard for how pickleball is promoted and celebrated in the country.
