Bengaluru Duo Nikhil and Deekshitha Dominate Pickleball Grand Prix With Unstoppable Mixed Doubles Triumph

Pickleball Grand Prix Mixed Doubles: Nikhil Nandha Veeraraghavan and Deekshitha Raviprasad captured the Mixed Doubles (Intermediate) title at the Pickleball Now Grand Prix in Bengaluru, defeating Manjushree JH and Mayur BS 15–5 on 30 August 2025. The event was held at Go Rally, Whitefield, and showcased sharp rallies and strong teamwork.

Match Highlights

From the start, Nikhil and Deekshitha controlled the pace with quick placements and steady coordination. They surged to an 8–3 lead and continued to dominate as the scoreline stretched to 13–2. Nikhil commanded from the backcourt, while Deekshitha maintained calmness at the net.

Though Manjushree JH and Mayur BS managed a few late points, the result was never in doubt. The pair closed the contest 15–5 with a clinical finish.

Players’ Reactions

After the win, Nikhil Nandha Veeraraghavan credited their strong chemistry.

“The partnership is most important. When the chemistry works is when you can play freely. Getting the chemistry between partners right is the most important,” he said.

He also reflected on the event.

“Sometimes she (Deekshitha) really clicks and sometimes she doesn’t. This tournament has been the best in Bangalore so far. I’ve been playing for one and a half years. With the sponsors and all of it, it was very well organised. We’re looking forward to another edition.”

Deekshitha Raviprasad praised the experience too.

“We’ve played quite a few tournaments, but this has been the most beautiful one. It was wonderfully organised. We just have fun on the court,” she added.
