The Trivandrum Pickleball Open 2025 was a PWR 50 event and marked the first flagship tournament in the state. Organiser Kesav S S expressed his excitement about the turnout.
“I’m thrilled to see such a huge crowd come for the tournament. This only shows how much potential pickleball has in Kerala. We will be organising more such tournaments in the state in the coming months.”(Kesav S S)

For the Pickleball Association of Kerala, the event was a milestone moment. Secretary Visakh V S, who also serves on the Executive Board of the Indian Pickleball Association, highlighted the significance.
“The Trivandrum Pickleball Open 2025 is the first flagship in Kerala. We have huge participation from across the state. The first day has gone really well with overwhelming numbers. We can only see the popularity of the game growing day by day, and we are looking forward to day two.”(Visakh V S)

“Pickleball in Kerala is gaining momentum just like Bengaluru and Delhi. The response here shows we are on the right track,” he added.
