Rise Up Championship Pickleball India: India’s first beachside pickleball tournament, the Rise Up Championship–Pickleball By The Bay 2025, will take place from September 26 to 28 at the VGP Golden Beach Resort in Chennai. The event is sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association and will be the country’s first PWR 1000 competition.
A Landmark Tournament
This championship is billed as the highest-ranked pickleball event ever hosted in India. It will feature men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, with 32 entries in each category.
Cash prizes worth lakhs will be awarded. Winners in each category will earn Rs 1,50,000, runners-up Rs 1,00,000, semifinalists Rs 75,000, and quarterfinalists Rs 25,000. With limited entries, the tournament promises intense battles among India’s top players.
More Than Just Sport
The three-day event is expected to attract over 25,000 fans. Alongside matches, visitors can enjoy Sundowner Parties and beachside entertainment, blending sport with a festive atmosphere.
Matches will be held on three indoor courts set up on the beach lawn of the resort. All games will also be streamed live, supported by digital media and influencer coverage.
