Young Talents and Veterans Spark Thrilling Upsets at Monsoon Masters Pickleball in Jammu

Monsoon Masters Pickleball Day 1 at the Isle of Ball in Jammu showcased the growth of pickleball in Jammu and Kashmir, with standout performances from juniors and seniors alike. The tournament, part of the Indian Pickleball Association’s competitive calendar, crowned winners in multiple categories on September 6, 2025.

Junior Champions Shine

The Under-18 Boys’ Singles Final saw Parth Bamba dominate Nikhal Deep Singh 11-0, 11-1.

In the Under-16 Boys’ Singles, Madhavendra Singh defeated Mandar 11-4, 11-5 with consistent control.

The Under-14 Boys’ Singles turned into a three-game battle, where Aditya Dutt Sharma fought back to beat Harikesh Sharma 6-11, 11-6, 11-4.

Seniors Deliver Exciting Matches

In the 30+ Men’s Singles Final, Aman Sharma overcame Taresh Baru 11-4, 12-10 in a contest that tested patience and nerves.

The 40+ Men’s Singles went to Indu Bhushan, who outplayed Sumit Sharma 11-5, 11-6.

In doubles, Pankaj Singh and Aman Sharma teamed up to defeat Aayush Pangotra and Anurag Singh 15-7 in the 30+ Men’s Doubles Final.
