Tamil Nadu U16 Pickleball Doubles Champions: Maanasi Karthik and Aashrithaa, along with Mathew Ryan and Rohaan Alexander, captured the Under-16 Women’s and Men’s Doubles titles at the 7th Tamil Nadu State Championship Pickleball. The event, an IPA-sanctioned PWR 100 tournament, took place at the Picklers Arena in Chennai across two weekends, September 6–7 and 13–14.
Women’s Doubles U16 Final Standings
Maanasi Karthik and Aashrithaa won the Women’s Doubles U16 gold by staying unbeaten in all four of their round-robin matches. They started with an 11-7 victory against Niyathi Nishant and Ritanyaasri, followed by a dominant 11-1 win over Kashvi Jain and Krisha.
The pair kept up their momentum with an 11-4 triumph against Anika Ranjit and Taanaz Alexander before sealing the title with an 11-2 victory over Egin Maria and Nandita Arun. Anika Ranjit and Taanaz Alexander took the silver, while Niyathi Nishant and Ritanyaasri finished with the bronze medal.

Men’s Doubles U16 Final Standings
In the Men’s Doubles U16 category, Mathew Ryan and Rohaan Alexander secured the gold medal after winning four out of five matches. They began strongly with an 11-0 win over Jaya Yogesh and Rahul G.S., but were upset in their second match by Sri Varshan and Anantha Varshan 3-11.
The duo bounced back with an 11-3 win over Sanjai and Armaan, then edged past Kaanav Jain and Shaurya Kothari 11-10 in a tense contest. In their final outing, they defeated Sri Varshan and Anantha Varshan 11-2 to claim the title. Sanjai and Armaan earned silver, while Kaanav Jain and Shaurya Kothari secured bronze.
