Angad Singh, Kanvar Verma, and Gurgeet Singh claimed the top three spots in the boys’ U-14 singles category. The tournament featured multiple age groups and categories for both singles and doubles events.
Boys’ U-14 Events
In the boys’ U-14 singles, Angad Singh took gold, Kanvar Verma won silver, and Gurgeet Singh secured bronze. In the doubles event, the pair of Angad Singh and Gurgeet Singh won first place. Inderveer Singh and Kanvar Verma finished second, while Devyansh Nagpal and Kabir Sehgal claimed third.
Boys’ U-19 and Men’s 19+
Abhay Veer Balhara won the boys’ U-19 singles gold by defeating Shaurya Veer Balhara, with Vardaan Dixit finishing third. In the U-19 doubles, Japnaam Singh and Abhay Veer Balhara took first, followed by Vansh and Vardaan Dixit in second. In the men’s 19+ singles, Karanvir Marwah, Kanu Malviya, and Ryan Gandhi finished first, second, and third. Ashley Arora and Karanvir Marwah won the doubles title.
Women’s +19 Events
Nehal Tageja won the women’s +19 singles gold, followed by Shastta Handa and Ravneet Kaur. In the doubles category, Khushi Sharma and Treepti Dang defeated Shubhangi Singh and Avreet Dhillon to claim first place.
Men’s 35+ and Open Events
Sunny Tambi won the men’s 35+ singles, defeating Varun Garg, with Shalabh Jain finishing third. In doubles, Shalabh Jain and Sunny Tambi beat Ankit Vinaik and Ankush Vinaik. Anand Gupta and Anand Gupta (junior) claimed third. Ashley Arora won the men’s open singles, followed by Nitin Gupta, and in doubles, Mankirat Singh Sobti and Akshay Negi claimed gold.
Mixed Doubles Highlights
In mixed doubles, Ryan Gandhi and Zoya Ramzan defeated Mansehaj Singh and Ashmeet Kaur for first place. Akash Dhingra and Nehal Tageja finished third, rounding out a highly competitive tournament that highlighted emerging talent across Chandigarh.
