India Sweeps Asia Pickleball Games: The Indian contingent made an exceptional showing at the 2024 Asia Pickleball Games, leaving an indelible mark with a remarkable collection of gold, silver, and bronze medals. Held under the auspices of the Asia Federation of Pickleball and the Chinese Taipei Pickleball Association, the competition brought together some of the top pickleball talent from across the continent.

Nitten Kirttane: The Leader

Veteran athlete Nitten Kirttane emerged as a standout star, securing two gold medals. He claimed victory in the 50+ Open Men’s Singles and teamed up with Sandeep Tawde to dominate the 50+ Open Men’s Doubles, highlighting his skill and determination.

Other Medal-Winning Performances

Vishal Jadhav earned a silver medal in the 35+ Open Men’s Singles, while Khushi Sachdeva and Shraddha Damani clinched silvers in the 19+ and 35+ Women’s Singles (4.0 category), respectively.
Adding to the silver tally, Sandeep Tawde triumphed in the 50+ Men’s Singles (4.0 category).

The doubles competitions saw golds for the young pairing of Vanshik Kapadia and Tejas Mahajan in the 19+ Open Men’s Doubles, as well as for Vanshik Kapadia and Vrushali Thakare in the 19+ Open Mixed Doubles. Vishal Jadhav partnered with Isha Lakhani to win gold in the 35+ Open Mixed Doubles, further solidifying India’s stronghold in the tournament.

Celebrating Bronze Achievements

India also celebrated five bronze medal finishes, with Chetan Sanil, Vrushali Thakare, Khushi Sachdeva, Shraddha Damani, Sandeep Tawde, and Johann Fernandes making notable contributions.
