Club 509 Summer Classic Offers Unforgettable Pickleball Competition and 5,000 Dollars in Prizes

The Club 509 Summer Classic will take place from June 19 to June 22, 2025, at Lawrence Scott Park in Kennewick, Washington. This highly anticipated pickleball tournament will feature a round-robin format, with skill divisions ranging from 3.0 to 4.5+, as well as exciting Open events offering a total prize pool of $5,000.

Tournament Overview

The tournament will kick off on Thursday, June 19, with 50+ and 60+ gender doubles events, followed by singles events under the lights. On Friday, June 20, participants will compete in an MLP-style team event, with gender doubles on Saturday and mixed doubles on Sunday, June 22.

Registration for the event opens on January 31, 2025, and closes on June 8, 2025. The registration fee is $45, with a $5,000 purse up for grabs in the Open divisions. The Open divisions, which feature the most competitive players, include Men’s and Women’s Open Singles, Men’s and Women’s Open Doubles, and Mixed Open Doubles. A minimum of six teams must register for the Open divisions for the event to take place.

Prize Money and Structure

The Open event’s prize pool of $5,000, in addition to all Open event fees, will be distributed among the top-performing teams in each category. The distribution of the prize money will be based on the final rankings within each division.

The tournament will be held at Lawrence Scott Park, located at 6020 W Quinault Ave in Kennewick, WA. The event will feature food and merchandise vendors onsite. Interested vendors must apply in advance via the official tournament website.

Refund Policy

A $25 cancellation fee applies to all registration cancellations. Players who withdraw before January 17, 2025, will receive a full refund minus the cancellation fee and any non-refundable service fees. If players are waitlisted, they will not be charged until they are officially moved into the event. Refunds will be issued 7-10 days after the tournament ends.
