Tournament Highlights
This year’s tournament introduces open events with cash prizes, where the prize pool will increase based on the number of participants. Teams in the open division must have both members with a rating of at least 4.0. The winning team in an open division could walk away with up to $1,000 if the event sees a full 20-team bracket.
In addition to the open events, the tournament will feature skill-level competitions. Players can choose to compete in either open or skill events, but not both.
Senior Events
Senior players, aged 55 and older, will have their own events on April 25. The divisions for seniors are broken down by age groups: 55-64, 65-74, and 75+. This provides an opportunity for older players to compete in a more age-appropriate category.
Registration and Refunds
Early registration is available until February 17, 2025, at a cost of $40. After that, the registration fee will rise to $45. Teams should note that registrations are limited to 20 teams for the open division. There are no refunds after April 11, 2025. Cancellations between April 1-10 will receive a refund minus a $25 late cancellation fee.
Prize Money Structure
Prize money is available only in the open events. The prize amount grows as more teams sign up. For example, if 8 teams register, the prize pool is $400, but with 20 teams, the total prize money could reach $1,000, with $500 going to the first-place team.
Venue and Parking
The tournament will be held at Apex Pickleball, located at 605 River Rock Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN. There is no parking fee for participants or spectators.
