The Palace Summer Classic will take place from June 27-29, 2025, at Pickleball Palace in Whippany, New Jersey. The event will feature multiple divisions, including singles, gender doubles, mixed doubles, and split-age competitions, with prize money available for the 4.5+ Open divisions.
Registration opens on March 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM EST and closes on June 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM EST. The entry fee is $50, with additional costs for individual events. Players who register before June 7 will receive a free tournament T-shirt.
Tournament Format and Events
The tournament will follow a round-robin format for all amateur divisions, ensuring multiple games for each team. Larger brackets will be divided into pools, with top teams advancing to playoffs.
- Singles Event: $20 entry fee
- Gender Amateur Doubles: $25 per event
- Mixed Amateur Doubles: $25 per event
- Open Level Events: $40 per event (4.5+ divisions include prize money)
- Co-ed Split Age Open: $35 entry fee
All results will be uploaded to dupr/”>dupr=”” href=”https://theconwaybulletin.com/tag/<a href=” https:=”” tag=”” theconwaybulletin.com=””>dupr/”>DUPR, and players will be placed in divisions based on their DUPR rating at registration. The tournament directors reserve the right to modify brackets and schedules as needed.
Prize Money and Payouts
The 4.5+ Open divisions will feature prize money based on total entrants. For each event, $30 from each entrant’s fee will contribute to the prize pool. The payouts are structured as follows:
- Gold Medalists: 60% of total prize money
- Silver Medalists: 25% of total prize money
- Bronze Medalists: 15% of total prize money
For the Co-ed Split Age Open, $20 from each player’s entry fee will go toward the prize pool, with the same payout percentages.
Venue and Amenities
Pickleball Palace is a newly constructed, climate-controlled facility with seven indoor courts and permanent nets. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. No pets are allowed inside the venue.
Refund Policy and Additional Information
Refunds will be issued with a $10 withdrawal fee until May 15, 2025. Partial refunds (50%) will be available from May 16 to June 13. After June 13, no refunds will be given. Payments will be processed via Stripe, with alternative payment options available upon request.
Tournament start times will be announced after registration closes to allow for efficient scheduling. Free parking will be available at the venue.
