Chandler Community Center Pickleball Clinic: A beginner-level pickleball course will take place at the Community Center in Chandler, Arizona, every Friday from August 7 to August 28, 2025. The class is designed to help newcomers learn the basics of pickleball through guided instruction, drills, and group activities.
Helping New Players Get Started
The “Introduction to Pickleball” class is meant for people who are new to the sport. Classes will run weekly on Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will be led by instructor Kevin Simpson. Each session will be held in the CC Multipurpose Room 110/111 at the Community Center, located at 125 East Commonwealth Avenue in Chandler.
Participants will be taught the rules of the game, how to keep score, safety tips, and basic pickleball strokes. The course also focuses on hand–eye coordination and skill-building exercises that help players keep the ball in play during real matches.
Building Skills and Confidence
The course emphasizes small group instruction and allows students to work closely with others at the same level. By practicing drills and learning proper technique, players will build the confidence they need to enjoy casual and recreational games.
