Pickle & Taps and The Azalea Festival will host the “Dink if You Dare” Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will feature mixed doubles matches, a courtside costume contest, and prizes for both pickleball winners and the best costumes.
Event Details
Players of all levels are invited to take part in this non-DUPR event. The tournament will follow a doubles format, beginning with round-robin brackets before moving to single-elimination playoffs. The Tournament Director will have full discretion over format changes if needed.
Registration ends on October 15, 2025. Entry is $75 per person, and each player must sign up individually while noting their partner’s name. Winners will receive medals and free tickets to the 2026 Azalea Festival.

Alongside the matches, participants and spectators can join in the “Courtside Costume” contest. No registration is required for the contest, and cash prizes will be awarded. According to organizers, the goal is to create a festive atmosphere where people can “come play, laugh, and dink if you dare.”
Refunds are available for cancellations made at least 72 hours before the tournament. Official start times for each division and other details will be announced closer to the event date.
