Caliber, a real estate and digital asset management platform, announced that PURE Pickleball & Padel™ submitted construction documents to the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community on September 12, 2025. This marks the start of the building permitting process for the 196,726-square-foot facility, which is expected to take about 15 months to complete.
About the Facility
PURE Pickleball & Padel™ will be located on an 11-acre site in the Riverwalk Development Project within the Talking Stick Entertainment District near Scottsdale. The facility aims to be the largest indoor pickleball and padel venue in the world. It will feature a 1,200-seat professional arena, 40 indoor pickleball courts, 8 indoor padel courts, a sports performance and recovery center by HonorHealth™, a restaurant and bar by Wolfgang Puck Catering, a pro shop, locker rooms, spa, event spaces, rooftop patio and bar, meeting rooms, and childcare services.
Design and Engineering Teams
The facility was designed by DAVIS, a Phoenix-based architectural firm, and engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and land surveying services are provided by RICK, also of Phoenix. Jeff Hunt, PE, Associate Principal at RICK, said the team is excited to support the engineering work for the 200,000-square-foot sports and entertainment venue, which expects around 500,000 annual visitors.
