Ting Chieh Wei and Xiao Yi Wang-Beckvall won the Pro Women’s Doubles title at the PPA Tour Asia – Panas Malaysia Open 2025, held in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. They defeated Kwon Mihae and Yufei Long in a hard-fought final match on July 7.
The gold-medal match started with Ting Chieh Wei and Xiao Yi Wang-Beckvall controlling the first set, winning 11-5. Kwon Mihae and Yufei Long bounced back in the second set with a narrow 12-10 victory, leveling the match. But Ting and Xiao responded with strong teamwork and sharp plays in the deciding set, taking it 11-4 to claim the championship.

Strong Competition Throughout
The final was not the only exciting match of the day. In the bronze medal contest, Ting Wen Wang and Kaifen Yi took on Nicola Schoeman and Sarah Burr. The bronze winners, Ting Wen Wang and Kaifen Yi, edged out their opponents in a closely matched battle.
Ting and Kaifen won the first set 12-10, lost the second 9-11, and bounced back in the third with a solid 11-7 finish to secure third place. Their focus and resilience helped them hold off a late push from Nicola Schoeman and Sarah Burr.
