Husband-and-wife team Jon and Stephanie Koren are set to launch Lake Anna Pickleball at the upcoming Roundabout Plaza in Mineral, Virginia. The plaza is expected to open in late summer or early fall of 2025. As pickleball becomes increasingly popular across the country, the Korens are eager to provide a local facility for this fast-growing sport.

The couple conducted thorough research by visiting existing pickleball courts in the area. They assessed the local physical and business climate to understand better how to support the sport in Lake Anna.

Lake Anna Pickleball will feature four regulation courts equipped with automated usage. Players will be able to pay their court fees via a machine, which will light up the courts for use.
