The NW PIG Chase 2025, hosted by Pickleball Is Great, will take place April 11-13 at the RECS Center in Clackamas, Oregon. This indoor pickleball tournament will feature players of all skill levels competing in round-robin matches with playoffs.
The event includes women’s doubles on Friday, mixed doubles on Saturday, and men’s doubles on Sunday. Registration, which opens December 1, costs $45 for early sign-up until January 31, with prices increasing afterward.
Tournament Format and Details
All matches will use a round-robin format, leading to playoffs for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. Games are played to either 11 or 15 points, depending on the number of teams. The top four teams in each category will advance to playoffs.
Players must rate their skills accurately and can only play up by 0.5 levels.
“The goal is to ensure fairness and competitive balance,” (the Tournament Director).
The RECS Center provides nine indoor courts on hardcourt surfaces. The Franklin X40 ball will be used, and participants must bring their paddles.
Registration Guidelines
Early registration costs $45, increasing to $60 on February 1 and $75 after April 2. An additional $15 fee applies per event. Teams must register within seven days to avoid being waitlisted.
The age brackets—under 50, 50-59, and 60+—will be finalized after registration closes. The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine brackets if necessary.
Community Excitement
Pickleball enthusiasts anticipate the event as a chance to compete and connect. “It’s an incredible opportunity for players to challenge themselves and have fun,” said a local player.
