The event will feature a round-robin format with playoffs for gold, silver, and bronze medals. Scheduled for January 3-5, 2025, this tournament is open to all players aged 50 and above, following US Senior Pickleball guidelines. No membership is required, but players with a USSP membership will receive a $10 refund.
Tournament Details and Format
The tournament includes events for women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and men’s doubles, with skill levels ranging from 3.0 to 5.0. The events are scheduled as follows:
- Friday, January 3, 2025: Women’s Doubles (ages 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+)
- Saturday, January 4, 2025: Mixed Doubles (ages 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+)
- Sunday, January 5, 2025: Men’s Doubles (ages 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+)
The tournament is structured to ensure competitive play. All games will follow a round robin format, with playoffs for the top teams. Pool play will include the following game formats:
- For 4, 5, and 6 teams: games are to 15, win by 2.
- For 7 and 8 teams: games are to 11, win by 2.
- Bronze matches are to 15, win by 2, while gold matches can be played as 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2, or to 15, win by 2.
Registration and Fees
Participants can register early for $35 plus $15 per event during June and July. Registration fees increase to $45 in August and September, and $55 in October and December. There are no membership requirements for registration.

The tournament will take place at the Embassy Suites Palm Springs, located at 74700 Highway 111, Palm Desert, California. The venue features 16 courts on a hard tennis surface, and parking is available free of charge.
