Furry Fracas Pickleball Tournament Returns for 2025 with a Great Cause

The 4th annual Furry Fracas pickleball tournament will take place on March 1-2, 2025, at The Picklr in Noblesville, Indiana. This event, which expects to attract at least 400 players, is hosted to support the Hamilton County Humane Society and its mission to protect and place pets. Registration for the tournament opens on December 17, 2024, and ends on February 19, 2025, with an entry fee of $70.

Tournament Highlights and Venue

Furry Fracas will be held at The Picklr’s new Noblesville facility, which opens on January 18, 2025. The venue boasts 19 dedicated pickleball courts, a mezzanine, and a tap wall with drinks such as Gatorade and beer.

In preparation for the tournament, participants can join the “Friday Freeview” on February 28 to practice at The Picklr before the official event begins. This special session will run from 6:00 pm onwards.

Tournament Format and Equipment

The event will feature different skill levels, including 3.0 and 3.5 divisions, which will play with the Franklin X-40 ball. Higher-level players in the 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 divisions will use the Vulcan VPRO Flight ball. Registration does not require immediate payment; players will receive instructions via email and can pay on the day of their event.

Parking and Refund Policy

Parking is free and available onsite, though carpooling is recommended due to expected high attendance. Refunds will be issued to players who withdraw before their first event.
