Jonesboro Pickleball Tournament Will Bring the Community Together for Burn Survivors

Jonesboro Pickleball Tournament: The Jonesboro Firefighters Local 3718 will host a pickleball tournament on January 24, 2025, at The Trim Gym in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to raise funds for Camp Sunshine. Registration opens on September 20, 2024, and closes on January 24, 2025. Proceeds will benefit children recovering from severe burns.

Tournament Details

The event will take place at The Trim Gym, located at 1916 Race Street in Jonesboro. Players must register by January 10 to receive a T-shirt, with the final registration deadline on January 24. The tournament will feature various pickleball divisions, and lunch will be provided on Saturday along with snacks throughout the day.

Camp Sunshine Support

Camp Sunshine, a pediatric medical camp in Arkansas, offers support to burn survivors. It provides a place for children who have recovered from severe burns to create lasting friendships, enjoy personal growth, and experience a sense of normalcy with others who have undergone similar challenges.
