This year, the Winter Classic will be hosted on the club’s brand new dedicated pickleball courts, part of a major renovation at South Towns Tennis & Pickleball. The facility now boasts six state-of-the-art courts, making it the premier pickleball destination in Orchard Park. The tournament will span three days, with a range of events for players of different skill levels.
One notable addition to the event is the “50/50 doubles” format, where each team consists of one player under 50 years old and one player 50+. Teams will compete in pool play, followed by medal rounds. This new event adds an exciting twist to the competition.
Event Details
The pickleball tournament will follow USAPA rules, and players are required to meet minimum skill level ratings to compete in higher-level events. Players not meeting the minimum rating may be moved to another bracket to ensure fair competition.
Refund Policy
Participants should be aware that the last day to withdraw from the event is February 17, 2025. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after this date.
