Covington Summer Slam 2025 Set to Bring Intense Pickleball Action to Washington

Covington Summer Slam 2025: The 3rd Annual Covington Summer Slam Pickleball Tournament, hosted by Pickleball Is Great, will take place from August 23 to 24, 2025, at the Kentwood High School tennis courts in Covington, Washington. This exciting pickleball event will feature skill-based competitions in mixed doubles, men’s doubles, and women’s doubles.

Event Details

The tournament is open to players with skill levels ranging from 3.0 to 4.5+. Players will compete in a fun round-robin format, followed by playoffs to determine gold, silver, and bronze winners.

Age brackets will be based on registration and are expected to be under 50, 50-59, and 60+. The tournament director may combine brackets if necessary to ensure quality play.

Registration opens on December 30, 2024, with fees starting at $50. The cost increases to $60 after May 1, 2025. Late registration begins on August 1, 2025, at $70. Players will also pay $15 per event.

Registration and Pricing

Participants are required to pay the full registration fee to secure their spot. Early registration, available until April 30, offers a discounted price of $50 plus $15 per event.

Standard registration costs $60 plus $15 per event from May 1 to July 31. Late registration will be available at $70 plus $15 per event from August 1 until the registration deadline on August 14, 2025.

All registered players will receive a free unisex T-shirt as part of their entry.

  • Saturday, August 23: Mixed Doubles
  • Sunday, August 24: Men’s and Women’s Doubles

The tournament will be played outdoors on tennis courts with the X-40 ball.

Refund Policy and Other Details

A $10 administrative fee will apply for all withdrawals. If an event is canceled due to weather, participants may receive up to a 50% refund. The deadline for refunds is August 14, 2025.
