Take the Next Step: Advanced Pickleball Class at Chesterfield Starts April 4

A new advanced pickleball class will be held from April 4 to April 18, 2025. The class will meet every Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Chesterfield Technical Center – Hull. This program is designed for players who have completed “Pickleball 101” and “Pickleball 102” and have been playing for at least six months.

Requirements and Objectives

Participants should have a similar skill level to ensure effective learning. The instructor may waive some requirements with prior permission. The class will use the Tudor Pickleball Machine for drills, focusing on smart play rather than hard play. Skills covered will include the drop shot, block shot, volley, overhead shots, and doubles strategy.

Once players master these skills, they should reach a level 3.0, becoming comfortable playing in Open/Rotational Play with peers at their ability level. Eye protection and proper tennis or court shoes are highly recommended for safety during practice.

Schedule and Refund Policy

The class will be held outdoors at the Chesterfield Technical Center, providing an ideal environment for pickleball practice. The rain date for the class is set for Saturday, April 26.

For those unable to attend, refund requests must be made in writing at least three business days before the course starts. Refunds are also processed automatically if the course is canceled. However, non-recoverable costs are not eligible for refunds.
