Registration for the tournament opens on January 1, 2025, and closes on May 23, 2025, at 11:55 p.m. The registration fee is $35, and players can register online. The event will feature Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, with skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.5. Players will compete in a round-robin format, with the chance to win medals based on their performance.
Format and Playoff Details
Depending on the number of teams, some brackets will have playoffs. In brackets with fewer than four teams, there will be no playoffs. In larger brackets, the top teams based on round-robin performance will move on to compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals.
The round-robin format will vary. For instance, brackets with 4 to 7 teams will play a series of games to 15, and brackets with 8 or more teams will be divided into pools for round-robin play to 21 points. Top teams from each pool will advance to the playoffs.
Important Registration Information
Players must register as a team, with both partners completing registration and payment for their entry to be valid. If a partner does not complete registration within seven days, the team will be moved to the waitlist. In the case of low registrations, the tournament organizers may combine skill groups or alter event formats.
Refunds are available for withdrawals made before May 20, 2025, but will not be issued after that date. The PickleballBrackets service fee of $5 per event is non-refundable.
