The NP Celebrity Tanning Open, powered by Onix, is set to return to Glendale, Arizona, from July 11 to July 13, 2025. Hosted at the Center Court Pickleball Club, this tournament is expected to draw pickleball enthusiasts from across the country.
Tournament Schedule and Events
The event will span three days, with different competitions each day. The schedule is as follows:
- Friday: Amateur Singles and Senior Pro Singles
- Saturday: Amateur Gender Doubles and Senior Pro Gender Doubles 1
- Sunday: Amateur Mixed Doubles and Senior Pro Gender Doubles 2
The bracket start times will be announced once registration closes.
Registration Details
Registration for the event opens on March 14, 2024, and closes on July 6, 2025. Early registration costs $75, but this will increase to $85 after July 7, 2025. Participants will also face a $25 event fee, and senior pros will be charged a $165 fee. A referee fee of $10 and a PB Brackets service fee of $5 to $10 will also apply. Participants’ DUPR ratings will determine bracket placements.
Tournament Format
The tournament will feature several bracket formats, depending on the number of teams or players:
- 3-player/3-team brackets: Double-Round Robin with games to 15, followed by a Gold Medal match (2/3 to 11).
- 4-team brackets: Single-Round Robin with games to 15, followed by semi-finals and a Gold Medal match (2/3 to 11).
- Brackets with 5-7 teams: Single-Round Robin with games to 15, followed by semi-finals and Gold Medal match (2/3 to 11).
- Brackets with 8-9 teams: Single-Round Robin with games to 11, followed by semi-finals and Gold Medal match (2/3 to 11).
- Brackets with 10-12 teams: Two pools, with games to 15 and semi-finals, followed by the Gold Medal match (2/3 to 11).
Bracket formats may change based on the number of registered participants.
Refund Policy
Players can withdraw up to 24 hours before their bracket begins for a refund of the registration and event fees. However, the processing fee charged by PickleballBrackets.com is non-refundable. After registration closes, no refunds will be offered for Senior Pros.
