Event Schedule and Format
The tournament kicks off on Friday, May 23, with Senior Men’s and Women’s Doubles (50+). Saturday, May 24, will host Mixed Doubles, and Sunday, May 25, will feature Men’s and Women’s Doubles (no age restrictions). Each event follows a round robin format with playoff rounds for the top four teams.
Matches are played to 15, with all games requiring a win by 2 points. If a bracket has 7 or 8 teams, matches will be played to 11 points. The tournament director (TD) may adjust brackets if needed to ensure competitive balance.
Registration and Costs
Registration for the tournament opens on December 30, 2024, and will be available online. The early registration fee is $50, with a $15 fee per event. From March 1, 2025, the price increases to $60 per participant, and registration fees rise to $70 after the May 14 deadline.
Players must register with a partner for doubles events. If a partner does not register within 7 days, the first player will be placed on the waitlist.
Refund and Weather Policy
A $10 administrative fee applies to all withdrawals. After the registration deadline, no refunds will be issued unless the event is canceled due to weather. If this happens, participants may receive up to 50% of their fees back.
Venue and Parking Information
The tournament will take place at the Mt Shasta Pickleball Courts, located at 1000 Siskiyou Lake Blvd in Mt Shasta, CA. There is no parking fee at the venue, and players can enjoy a scenic setting while competing.
