The 6th annual NOT’lanta Open will take place from May 1 to May 4, 2025, at Montclair Pickleball in Augusta, Georgia. This pickleball tournament will feature a range of exciting events, including singles, doubles, and mixed doubles competitions, held across four days.
Tournament Details
Registration for the NOT’lanta Open opened on January 1, 2025, and will close on April 26, 2025. The entry fee is $50, with an additional $10 charge for each event entered.
Participants are encouraged to sign up early to secure their spot, as the event will be limited to 7 teams per bracket. The tournament will be held at Montclair, a private neighborhood venue with 8 outdoor courts in west Augusta.
Competition Schedule
The tournament will begin on Thursday, May 1, with singles events, including men’s full-court singles and women’s skinny singles. Friday, May 2, will feature women’s doubles and a social event in the evening. Saturday, May 3, will focus on mixed doubles, while the final day, Sunday, May 4, will host men’s doubles.
The competition will begin as early as 8:00 AM each day, with the specific start times for each event emailed to participants after registration closes. Players will compete in a round-robin format, with teams facing off against others in their bracket.
Registration Guidelines and Refund Policy
To register, players must secure a partner within 5 days of registration, or they will be moved to the waitlist. DUPR ratings will be updated live, and players will be moved to a higher rating bracket if their rating increases by April 20, 2025. There are no referees at this event, and matches will be self-monitored.
The deadline for withdrawals is April 26, 2025, with a $15 administrative fee applied for withdrawals before that date. After the deadline, no refunds will be provided.
Special Features
Participants will receive a tournament hat if they are among the first 250 to register. A special Pickle & Social event will take place on Friday night, featuring music, open play, a food truck, and other activities for registered players. Spectators and players are welcome to bring coolers.
Weather Considerations
Since the event is held outdoors, weather conditions may impact the tournament. If events are canceled due to inclement weather, there will be no refunds. The tournament director reserves the right to adjust the format, shorten games, or make other changes to ensure the event continues.
